THE DIGESTIVE ORGAN
Pancreas

The enzyme factory at the centre of metabolism.
You cannot extract nutrition from food that isn't broken down. The pancreas makes breakdown possible.
The pancreas has two distinct roles. Its exocrine tissue secretes digestive enzymes - lipase, amylase, and protease - into the small intestine. Its endocrine tissue secretes insulin and glucagon into the bloodstream. The two systems operate in parallel, coordinating how food becomes fuel.
Bovine pancreatic tissue contains concentrated lipase, amylase, and protease in their native biological matrix. Unlike isolated enzyme supplements, which typically contain a single enzyme fraction, whole pancreatic tissue delivers the full complement of digestive enzymes in proportions that reflect their natural co-secretion ratios.
The pancreas also contains vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP), a neuropeptide naturally present in pancreatic tissue. VIP is one of several pancreatic peptides whose systemic effects are still being characterised, making the pancreas a component of the formula.
